OH cubing wanna start

well I think thumb is useful for OH too. I use thumb for M. The first thing you have is to select the hand you want to you

you must be kinda stupid to chose OH-algos with M moves.

Yeah, all I can seem to do with any amount of speed for F R U R' U' F' is to use my thumb for the first F.

You do F with your thumb? I use would use my right index finger. Goes right into the Sexy Move.

F is supposed to be done with thumb to avoid rotation. But it's very difficult.

I have to be honest, what's so hard about picking up a cube and figuring out how to do things for yourself? Do you lack so much independence that you need your hand held through such a process as going from solving with two hands, to solving exactly the same way with one hand?

I have been I can do it in 2 ish min. I just want some tips and stuff. Sheesh dude what's wrong with you? asking for help is not a bad thing. have been trying to figure it out. sorry if I need help. I just started today. I do understand your point though. but find a less douchy way to say it next time

I'm not here to be nice. You practised for one day? Do really think one day is enough time to deduce that you are no longer capable of working out further tricks for yourself? I remember when I first started OH cubing. In fact, it was OH cubing that brought me to this site. As you can hopefully see from that very old post, I had worked for several weeks to get sub1 OH, and the question wasn't even about tips and such for cubing. I put in the hardwork myself looking around the internet for anything that might help me (and I can assure you, resources on OH cubing were very scarce back then).

You know, you may think I'm being mean, but I think that I am setting you up for a future of independence and initiative. Hopefully you can learn something from this.

No dude I totally get your point. I didn't think about that at all. I understand your point now. and you were right I worked on it a bit and I go down to 1 min. I tried looking around and figured out that the way I was doing it was the same way the pros of OH were doing it. I just cried for help WAY to fast without giving it time. I appreciate your honesty and the laughs I get when reading your post on other threads.
