I don't wanna sound like a noob but.... I need help with C4Y cube

I put the washer closest to the head of the screw and the spring below it. Everyone has their own tension preferences. I learned at the Newark Winter that I like cubes that are very loose (enough to make other speedcubers fear pops).

put a washer on the screw, and then put the spring onto the screw with the fat end of the spring facing the bottom.

I believe you face the bigger end facing the core, it acts as a washer?

How much do I tighten it because I tightened it all the way and it still pops when I turn it

Tighten more, the core is kinda made a weird way so it's really hard to get the right tension, but trust me, just tighten it more, it's REALLY hard to tighten it enough so it gets good.

I put the springs in with the fat end touching the washer and then thought about it a bit more and changed one spring round, but it didn't make much difference so I didn't bother doing it with the others. I know it's assymetrical but, after lubing, I can't tell any difference at all.

Maybe I'll change it round one day...
