Where the hell do you buy all the "type" cubes, like Type-A?

I see alot of talk about the different Types that ranges from Type-A to type-FII and so on. But where do you buy them? What are the brand name of those cubes? Are they simply "types"? I'm kinda new on the cubingworld so I really haven't got the whole typething.

Do they have "types" on popbuying or dealextreme? The reason I'm asking is because they have free shipping and I live a long away from both USA and Asia :(

While I'm at it. How the hell do I sort by "all cubes" or brands on dealextreme? Searching for only "cube" is hardly precise :/

C4Y or Popbuying mostly

Next time please use the One answer question thread

EDIT: this is also good

This is hardly a "one question thread". I don't understand anything about the whole "type" deal. Everyone seems to know what they aer except me. Are they a brand and different models? What would be their name on popbuying? They shorten everything down so I don't find anything

The second link was awesome. That one big list of shops!

Wow you must have been in a hurry considering you couldn't browse the interwebz for like 6 seconds or even this forum. Yes this would have been legitimate if it had been asked in the 1 answer question thread thing.
Try cube4you.com

I've already looked, and asked in other threads about all the type cubes. Does all the type cubes come in kits? It seems like all of them are "build it yourself" cubes. I don't mind though, just asking

Popbuying has a stickied thread in the hardware area. In the first post, they include the brand names and associated abbreviations which correlate to the site, some images of those logos, and even some links to specific type/brand cubes.

Also there is a stickied thread (I believe in the hardware area) talking about a comparison of the types of cubes. In this post you can see specific images and reviews of a cube, enough to at least be able to identify different cubes on various websites.

In Applemoe's defense...there was a thread I posted once, which people told me to search first. I used the vbsearch tool, which gave me nothing. Everybody told me I did something wrong, which, I didn't, they simply used the build in google search tool on the website (only on the forum pages though, not the speedsolving.com index).

To answer the original question, they're all different models of cubes made by different companies. There's A-F, something like this:

Type A, changed to Alpha: I-V, with new and old I-III
Pretty much an all-around cube. Not really best with anything.

Type B
Everyone agrees it sucks. I don't even think you can buy it many places.

Type C, has I and II
Has its fans, but is better with C4Y Springs/Screws with springs upside-down

Type D
Pretty much pure speed

Type E/Diansheng, has 222 and 333
Also very fast and CHEAP.

Type F, has I & II
Light, good corner cutting, and few pops. F I deteriorates quickly

There are a few others that don't have letter names:

DaYan/Taiyan, has I and II
Very fast and really good corner cutting

Ghosthand, has I and II
Like Type F but smoother and quieter

Edison Cube
Heavy and slow but sturdy

I apologize if some of this is slightly inaccurate, I just did it off the top of my head. And you should definitely research things before making a post if at all possible.

That's a pretty good quick guide, Chapuunka. There were a few things you missed, but that's pretty good for these purposes.

Judging from that pic, pop only has type A's and C's. Am I correct? Maybe it's outdated or something? Thanks anyway! :D

LOLOLOL shengen=f, yongjun = d, dianshang=b, and there are alot more that aren't called "type ___"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure you just recently came back here after being out of the loop for a while, asking lots of questions.

Now you sound all arrogant, while also spelling things wrong and giving false information...
