Lately while I've been learning PLL's, my times have been dramatically decreasing. I used to be a 35ish average (of 12) but now I can barely finish sub-60 times. Should I keep on learning the PLL's then moving on to practicing or practice and then learn PLL? Any help is appreciated :)

If your times before were 35 avg, then I would learn the pll's while lightly practicing your regular solve and when you know them all practice you solve with pll a lot and your times will go down

Screw learning algs. I didn't even get close to learning all my PLLs until I was about at the 18sec level and I don't even know all the OLLs now. (I average 13sec now)

I would just practice.

You average 13 seconds with the Fridrich Method and you don't even know all the OLLs??!?!!?!?!?!?!?:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I never knew that was possible! You must have like a 1.5 second cross, 7 second F2L, 3 second OLL, and like a 2 second PLL. AMAZING!!

"get close to learning all my PLLs until I was about at the 18sec level" - wow you must of had a super fast cross, F2L, and 2 Look OLL then. UNBELIEVABLE!

@pcwiz, actually my friend doesn't know any OLL's except for the ones needed for 3 look and he averages about 11 seconds.

Also, now I have learned all PLLS, and 29/57 OLL's but still averaging around 27 seconds... I just need to get my F2L to about 10 seconds and I'll be faster but it's really hard :S

Have you witnessed these solves? Idk something just seems a but off in these videos no timer and the video time is always exactly the solve time..
he starts with the cube in his hand doesn't show the scramble or anything, seems to get loads of U's and his turn rate isn't that fast...
From the videos he seems like a decent solver but 11second average...
