Sorry for the weirdo title I don't know how to word this.

I just found a nice set of moves that offers really good practice. I just take a completed cube and do this:
RUR'U until it's completed. It's really helped me gain some speed and I was wondering if anyone else has found anything better?

yea thats a very common trigger, another is the mirror...

L' U' L U
R' F R F'
L F' L' F

If there was one that speeds your fingers up, dont you think everyone would do it? Reasearch on the internet.

Oh an just so you know. Any sequence of moves repeated a certain amount of times will eventually solve. So you could make your own custom ones depending on what you need to work on, if you need to work on L & F, you could do L' F R U.

Thing is, I fail at the left hand... that's why I didn't mention it in the first place :D

Cyrus C. I know. I've fooled around several times with sequences, I even tried to find out how many times you needed to do R'U2 before it got solved again with no success (>1300 fyi)

What is your personal best on the 3x3?

Fail at the left hand? I usually do (L D' L' D)x6, or (L B' L' B)x6, because it uses moves that usually people are bad with.

R' U2 is solved after 30. You must've messed up.

39 seconds... I'm a bit of a newbie though I've been cubing for about 6 months... I just finished learning the OLLs so I'm just practising like mad now.
