I was just wondering if there is a certain official way your are supposed to solve the Rubik's 360. I mean, like the only way I can solve mine is by sort of throwing it so that the spheres spin until they catch onto one of the balls. Is this allowed?

Yeah there is a video on youtube with a lot of tips on ways to get the balls past the first sphere.
