My Possible Music and Cubing Experiment Read First

I would like to participate. I average around 25 seconds on the Rubiks Cube. I play clarinet, guitar, piano, and harmonica.

You will really need to take into account the level of skill of the musicians and what instruments they play. Unless they are playing something fairly demanding, their fingers will not really be moving that fast.

Also, different instruments rely on different hands. Most brass, excluding french horn, use the right hand, while woodwinds use both.

I would like to see a variation of this with just percussionists. (specifically marching percussion) Although whether or not percussion instruments require the most technical use of the fingers could certainly be debated... I doubt anyone would argue against a marching snare player doing more "physical" work with the wrists and fingers. Personally, I haven't really played seriously in over four years, but I keep a practice pad next to my desk and when I just can't seem to get my fingers warm for cubing... I will pad for awhile and it always seems to help.

That's the other problem I had ,the skill of the musicians(Twinkle,Twinkle Little Star<Virginia Tate,Pataflafla{i play percussion}).
As for the percussion thing I find that Marching Percussion really helps with wrist movement and a lot of finger control(IDK I'm in pit atm).

BTW I had sort of given up on this because a few issues but i'll try to fix them.

Wouldn't you have to account for how consistent the cuber is in general?

Like faster cubers tend to be much more consistent, so an instrument might not make a difference at all, the average just is different because the cuber is inconsistent.
