What to wear to a competition

I am going to the Indiana Winter 2010, and I have never been to a competition before. I do not want to look like a slob, nor do I want to look like a geek. I know that i should probably wear jeans, but what kind of a shirt should i wear. Just a regular t-shirt, or a collared shirt.

Wear whatever you want. Dress up like a normal weekend. Logo shirts are cool.

Well, if you own a cube themed tee, bust it out. if not? dress like your going to go hang out with friends. ...Although there is always the one or two guys trying to win the 'skirt day award' at Berkeley competitions, so there will be some cross dressed people at the comps i go to. one person even dressed as the joker last time... regardless, just dress casually.

LOL. You actually plan what you will wear? I try to make sure I have my KOII shirt available, but otherwise just whatever.
