Type a screws/springs with c4u core?

Can you make a hybrid cube with a c4u core but type a screw washer spring kit from cubeforyou.com? I want to turn my rubiks store bought into a diy with this combination I just don't know if the core and screws will work together or not.

Well that sucks I ordered 2 c4u cores and 2 type a screw sets from them before this so I guess I'll just do it anyway is it at least better than the store bought?
