Hello everyone!

My name's Randy, I'm 16 and I've been cubing since last July. My 3x3 PB is 29.79, which I'm totally proud of.

I've been learning Fridrich for a couple of months now; I use 2 look PLL, know about half of the OLLs and really need to improve on my F2L look ahead. I've been lurking around this forum for a bit and I decided to join in on the fun.

I don't currently have any other puzzles besides by trusty store bought 3x3 and a cruddy Rubik's 4x4, but I have a 2x2 and a Pyraminx coming in the mail and I've been looking up Megaminxes recently. I'm also probably going to get a DIY cube soon because my 3x3 has sorta been deteriorating.

As a last note, I'd like to say that the first time I solved a Rubiks cube was on a plane; how many of you have joined the mile-high club like myself? :p

I'm looking forward to spending some time here and if anyone has any questions or helpful tips, please don't hesitate to mention them!

Welcome!
Half of the 2-look or 1-look OLL's, because PLL takes more time then OLL and 1-look PLL should probably be learnt before 1-look OLL

1 look OLL. I know it's stupid to try to learn a group of 50 algs before I learn 14 but I figure if I can learn all of the OLL algs then the PLL algorithms should be a breeze. I dunno, it's kinda loopy logic. But I plan to learn all of them eventually so what does it matter?

If your not going to be competing some time before you finish full OLL and PLL then it doesn't matter I guess. Your end result will be the same, but the journey their will be slow, slight faster, slightly faster, much faster, done, where as if you learn PLL first, you will spend more time being faster. (Slow, much faster, slightly faster, slightly faster, done.) [I put to slightly fasters because their are twice as many OLL's as PLL's.)
