Hi, I'm a fairly new cuber, (2 months), and I was wondering if some of the better cubers could evaluate my position in cubing. Sorry If I suck and wasted your time. I use the Fridrich method, intuitive F2l, and the 4 look LL and I average around 43 seconds. thanks

On the three corner cycle PLL's, most people use their whole hands to do D2.

And hey, don't call yourself terrible. Everyone was that slow at one time in their cubing career.

First tip I could think of was to really practice building the cross. It took you a while and once you get to ~20 seconds average it will really define some of your slower solves if you can't plan it in inspection.

EDIT: Try making another video but with the camera pointing down at the cube like from your viewpoint. This would make it WAY easier to critique your F2L since we can't see what you're doing from below.

How he performs one alg is clearly not a real problem at all. From what it looked like, you do the cross in any position and then permute once they are oriented, make sure you practice solving them in their correct positions, relative to each other, in one go.
I only watched your first solve, and the view is not very good, but I think practice, in general, will allow you to put in your pairs without thinking so you can look ahead, you having to think about what you're doing is slowing you down, but that will just come with practice.
Obviously, you should start learning PLLs at some point. 3lll will immediately cut off a few seconds.
Good luck.

No, your alg is fine. I use the same one as you. Just try to do the D2 with your hand rather than your ring.

I use my ring. It's fine. (sub 1.5 in case you ever ask).

1. Improve F2L
This
This
And this

2. Turn faster and/or smoother. You can get away with slow turning as long as you DON'T STOP.
3. Improve LL alg speed.

your F2L is not too bad. i was a lot worse than you when i started. also, i did the 3 corner cycles perm same way as you last time, but now i prefer doing D2 with my whole hand. it's smoother and looks nicer.
