US competitions..

[David Pritts]

Are there any American competitions coming up that are not in California?

[brad711]

Every day at my High School during lunch...
jk, but I would also like to know.
I vote Idaho!

[pjk]

There will be one in Denver on April 12th. We are still setting up details, hence the reason it isn't on speedcubing.com.

I want one in houston D:

[ExoCorsair]

If you want one enough and there aren't any near you, then you will (or should) organize one.

[alexc]

There aren't many near Pennsylvania.
I wish I lived in California.

[sam]

Princeton will be announced soon.

[hdskull]

It will be here. http://www.worldcubeassociation.org/results/competitions.php

any idea on when the competition will be?

[sam]

Right now it looks like march 22nd. i wont give any more details until its been announced on speedcubing.com. it would only change if a large number of people will not be able to make it.

[Tim Reynolds]

Ah, shoot. Another competition I can't go to... Good luck, though, Sam. Have fun.
hdskull: Find a venue, find a date, find a WCA delegate, and read Bob's competition guide on cubewhiz.com and the WCA regulations. And find at least 4 judges who you can trust to show up. That's important.

[sam]

gah, Tim, why cant you make it? thats two good cubists i know that cant make it..

[Tim Reynolds]

I'll be in Japan 3/17-3/26 on a school trip. Darn...
Who's the other?

[sam]

Dan (Masterovthebass) cant come... i hope some sub 15 people can come. Theres probably going to be an exhibition as well during some of the other events.

[philkt731]

Is it posssible to become a WCA delegate?

Hey Tim, are you going to HMMT?

[Tim Reynolds]

Yeah, though sadly that might be the weekend Bob's organizing a competition in NYC, in which case I'd have to miss Bob's.
