And by this a I mean doing a PLL time attack, but only doing each 'letter' once.

There are 4 G perms, but in a trimmed time attack you'll choose only 1 to do. The same goes for A perms, U's, J's, N's, and R's.

For a regular time attack my times are in the 50's, but with a trimmed time attack I just got a 30.44. :)

Please try this and let me know how it goes.

On a somewhat similar note, does anyone do PLL 'time attacks' where the timer is paused after each algorithm? So it's really just the sum of all your individual algorithm times?
On topic: I won't time myself because I consistently forget one of the PLLs. In fact, I can't even remember the letter. Four edges correct, 2 adjacent corner swaps. But it is much faster to cut out my least favorites. 2/3 the time, if I had to guess.

I've done a version of PLL time attack where you have to solve each case once on 11 different cubes. (White and Yellow on each one)

I get around 34-40 on the sum compared to 60-75 on PLL time attacks. Sum of best singles is 29.72 and sum of best averages is 34.51.
