Still helpful, though I wanted Square-1 parity algos, but nevermind.
You were obviously not there when cmowla made his very first thread. Why no just avoid parity? :fp lol.
Note 4: As you might have noticed by looking at my avatar, I am curious if there has ever been the discovery of a pure edge flip algorithm less than 25 quarter turn moves.
OLL Parity (RUL):
Lw' U2 x Lw' U2 Lw' U2 Lw U2 Rw' U2 Lw U2 Lw' U2 Lw U2 Lw (25q, 17f)
Lw' U2 Lw' U2 Lw U2 Lw' U2 Rw U2 Lw' U2 Lw U2 x' Lw U2 Lw (25q, 17f)
Rw U2 x Rw U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Lw U2 Rw' U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Rw' (25q, 17f) (Yu Nakajima uses this, Lucas Garron found it)
Rw U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Rw U2 Lw' U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 x' Rw' U2 Rw' (25q, 17f)
Double Parity (RUL):
Lw U2 Lw U2 Rw' U2 Lw U2 Lw' U2 x U2 Lw2 U2 Lw U2 Lw' (25q, 16f)
Lw2 U2 x' U2 Lw U2 Lw' U2 Rw U2 Lw' U2 Lw' U2 Lw U2 Lw' (25q, 16f)
Lw' U2 Lw U2 Lw2 U2 x U2 Lw' U2 Lw U2 Rw' U2 Lw U2 Lw (25q, 16f)
Lw' U2 Lw U2 Lw' U2 Lw' U2 Rw U2 Lw' U2 Lw U2 x' U2 Lw2 (25q, 16f) (mine, I switched )
Rw U2 Rw' U2 Rw U2 Rw U2 Lw' U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 x' U2 Rw2 (25q, 16f)
Rw U2 Rw' U2 Rw2 U2 x U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Lw U2 Rw' U2 Rw' (25q, 16f)
Rw2 U2 x' U2 Rw' U2 Rw U2 Lw' U2 Rw U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Rw (25q, 16f)
Rw' U2 Rw' U2 Lw U2 Rw' U2 Rw U2 x U2 Rw2 U2 Rw' U2 Rw (25q, 16f)
Just for comparison, here's the "standard" OP alg:
Rw2 B2 U2 Lw U2 Rw' U2 Rw U2 F2 Rw F2 Lw' B2 Rw2 (25q, 15f)
See how much it sucks?
I can also post FRUL and FRU algs in case anyone's interested, but they're not as nice as the RUL ones imo. I think Yu Nakajima's alg is the best, here's why: no double turns (all Rw and Lw moves are quarter turns), and it alternates between Rw/Lw and U2 moves (i.e. quarter turn, U2, quarter turn, U2, etc.), which makes execution non-stop and super smooth. But I just like my alg better for some unknown reason
In case you didn't know, you can always use DP algs to fix OP. It doesn't really matter because it doesn't increase or decrease your chances of getting PP (still 0.5).
If I made any modifcations to them, then I wrote the original form of the algorithm down. If I didn't make any changes, there should be a "N/A" next to the phrase "original algorithm".Why is r U2 x r U2 r U2 r' U2 l U2 r' U2 r U2 r' U2 r' only mentioned as an "original algorithm" and not as an algorithm itself?
Yes that much was quite obvious, you seemed to have completely missed the point of my question. Perhaps I should have asked why you felt the need to only list a modified version of this alg, and leave the original as only a side note. I think that this alg (and it's inverse) are far and away the fastest, yet neither is listed as a main algorithm and neither is credited to Lucas Garron.
Well, I thought it might be more appropriate for the general audience. As they see the "algorithm", then they may wonder what the speedcubing form is.
As I responded to Lucas Garron himself, I tried my best to give credit to whom credit was due. In fact, Lucas said himself that he didn't come up with one which I gave him credit for. The point is, I didn't want anyone to take this personal (of who came up with what...because for some of the algorithms, that is unclear), rather, it was just a list of algs, ok?
...No, he's saying you should make pictures using one of the two methods he suggested to show what cube state each algorithm solves. If you are asking me what I used to make my avatar, here is the link:I'd like pictures or links. I made alg.garron.us for a reason, and Cride5's image generator is very nice.

Hi to all. I have researched a lot over the internet in the past looking for all of the “one edge flip” algorithms I could find (for big cubes). Now I will give the results to you. I have included a pdf attachment which has the algorithms, their sources, their founders, etc. I am pretty sure that all algorithms are correct as shown.
[offtopic]Why are cmowla's posts a different font from the rest of the page?[/offtopic]
I had to take it off in order to put my 4-cycle document online (I didn't have enough attachment space). As soon as pjk gives me some more space, I will put it back on. I private messaged him yesterday about it. So I am now waiting on a response.Where is it?

Oh, ok. I thought it was there and I just couldn't find it. That's cool with me.
