I'd say never start with friedrich, but it's never too soon to start with Fridrich :)

How did I know someone would pick up on that haha :)

I'd say wait until you average sub 2 with beginners before you look at learning more... It'll just make learning easier I think.

my friend can get sub 50 using beginner method

i think you should get sub 2 min before using fridrich

At least sub 2 I think. I didn't start looking at more advanced methods until I was at least sub 75.

I vote at least sub 1. Sub 40 with LBL is easy. I waited until 35 avg before I went to Petrus.

Changed to apply to my case.

wtf...what the problem in starting with fridrich as soon as you get to know about it?

I have started cubing with Fridrich right away and I'm really glad the I was not teached any stupid beginners method.

The only thing that makes sense iss to start practising what you are going to use anyway as soon as possible.

The problem with starting right with Fridrich is that it may be too much for some people to take in. Have you ever tried teaching someone how to do the cube. I'm sure you didn't try teaching them Fridrich. That would be insane. They wouldn't understand. That's why you build a foundation (the beginners method) and then work of that when you become more advanced.

wtf...what the problem with starting with beginners and working your way to fridrich when your more advanced, and understand more about the basic concepts of the cube.

I have started with keyhole after beginners and im really glad i didnt jump right into fridrich, becausse i wouldve ben lost.

The only thing that makes sense iss to start practising what you know, taking it as far as you can, and then going on from there.

Good job acting your age Edward. Why didnt you take keyhole to sub 20 then switch to fridrich? Why'd you switch so early?

The furthest I could take it myself was sub 40 :D.

But you get my point.

How do you know the furtherest if you stopped trying? What's the furthest that you're going to take fridrich? You don't know yet because you haven't gotten there and even then you'll still probably go further.

As I said, you get my point. The same way you contradict everything I say, is the same thing I did in his case.
