N-perms FTL!

Especially with misoriented piece on the left (should be Na). Still searching for a good algorithm ...

I use (R U' L U2' R' U L')*2 or alternatively z R' U R' D R2 U' R E y R' D R2 U' R D', both of which I am not good at. I have not watched any video and must be doing it wrongly though. I should start watching some.

If I get this with the clock at 25, I tell myself that's 5-6 sec gone. Screw sub-30 :fp.

F perm is troublesome with 2 cube rotations but at least it's smooth.

T perm you can do with left hand and it's still smooth :).

I think the results of this thread are not relevant. You can't compare different algorithms. I don't think everyone executes them in the same way. If it was for the recognition it was something else.

I voted for the F perm though - if it's for the execution.

So the 3 worst ones will be from subset 2? That means that I could substitute a different finish so that I'll only have to do Y? I have to figure out a F Perm that also does a 3 cycle. And I have to find the best algorithms that end with the right cube orientation.

By the way, this is not for Roux, or Fridrich.

I thought Roux users didnt use PLL. ?_?

Haha I know, but I'm working on something.

Is it our super awesome secret method??

Haha, it has something to do with that, kind of. I'm also thinking about something else, but yes. And its super duper awesome secret method ;).

Haha though I absolutely loath the Ja Perm and Z perms, The E one is really slow (for me that is) ... (And Im not that fast anyway XD)

Whats wrong with Ja?
Its probably one of the fastest PLLs for both 2H and OH.

The Algorithm I use for it is ridiculously slow (I've been meaning to look up a new one for it anyway)

Do you use the LUR one that Thrawst teaches?
That done definitely isn't the best for 2H. (good for OH though)
Here's a common one that most people that I know use
R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U'

No I had always just mirrored the Jb Perm. :/ terrible algorithm (I'm too sluggish with my left hand to get all those finger tricks with it :P)

But thank you for the alg. :)

Ok, so, I'm deciding that this might not be a good idea. This is mainly due to the fact that WV means already creating a pair, and CLS (CLB in this case) has way to many algs to be reasonable. Unless...

Quick question:

If you had a 2x2x3 block and the remaining cross piece sovled (this is just an if), and if you only wanted to insert the last 2 F2L corners (not the edges), would it be possible to insert one while orienting some of the LL corners (1,2,3?) and orient the others (3,2,1?) while inserting the other corner?

Basically, I need to get from (something like) state 1, to (something like) state 2, as fast as possible.
