Why? Just take the time to break them in, lubricate them properly, and they'll become very very nice. Even Rowe uses a regular eastsheen to my knowledge lol.

ok I'll take the time to break it in
and since I ahve some spare edge caps for 2x2 and I have a maru mini cube......Ill make one of those 2x2 from 3x3.
