I know there are many similar threads, but I could not find any quite like this, what I want is a place where people post information on a site they have bought from. I do not want cube quality, just how close it matches its description, how easy the purchasing stage was eg, confusing, excellent, ect.

My Example:

Mefferts: I have purchased two items from there, and the first (pyraminx II, white plastic) took 6 days to Victoria, Australia. Free postage with free air mail (meant to take ages), and reasonable price. Matched description perfectly. More info would have been nice. package was not damaged or scratched at all. 2nd item (4x4 tiled, white plastic) is still coming, using free air mail again. Very confusing order sheet. Asked for room number, which I assumed meant street. Too many spaces for writing and I left a few blank but it came.

One last note, you can only review a site if you've bought there. Also, say what sites are bad/unreliable. You can review more than one site in your post, and it does not have to be any where near as detailed as mine.

Review as many sites as you can.

Cube4you:

Good things:
-Everything came on time, and in good condition
-They have a wide selection of puzzles

Bad things:
-They aren't very user-friendly. Eg. They named a JSK clone "Black speed cube", and they named a New Type A 2 "Type A third model". (I bought this thinking it was a type a 3rd model T_T)
-Owner doesn't speak english well

Dealextreme: Very inexpensive, free shipping. I got a type C and a c4y cube and they are both very good. customer service is great -- the first c4y cube i got had no screws, so they sent me an entirely new one. I've also bought a megaminx, mirror blocks, pyraminx, and random non-cubing items as well.

The only problems you'll run into is that they can be pretty slow if your items are not in stock. They also only take paypal.

Well I bought from these people:-
I am based in Melbourne, same as you if I'm not mistaken

dealextreme - very nice type Cs and cheap also.. my first choice for cheap DIY (around 2 weeks delivery)

rubikfans from ebay and 9spuzzles, they work together really.. they mailed both of my orders as a joint shipment but I had to pay the shipping fee separately.. so I guess either you get from rubikfans on ebay or 9spuzzles directly. (type As, type D YUGA) (around 2 weeks delivery)

24hourgifts I think it was on ebay sold the (type F) Ghost Hand for $9.99 with free shipment.. after I had my other cubes, Ghost Hand does not form part of the cubes I like right now.. Well you need to try :P (around 2 weeks delivery)

and lastly tribox: no automated shopping cart for english users. We got to copy the contents and mail tribox directly and await for his confirmation and invoice. My experience with tribox is very good, nice JSK and white edison. But the shipping cost might be prohibitive (EMS only and mine was like 20 AUD + at least for the 2 cubes) and tribox made me wait from Friday to Thursday before shipping because he was busy with other orders. But definitely a good guy and I gonna order from him again if I want to collect a joycube too I guess.. (around 1 week delivery if I was not back ordered. Friday -> Thursday waited, then shipped, received on next Monday)

I can't agree to the cons you were writing there. James is always friendly to me and his English is easy to understand, also he is very often online at MSN so you can contact him easily to request information or help, or get information about the shipping state.
