Hey everybody

I got home today after our first competition here

it was a great time, really cool to meet a lot of people I only talked to by the internet
and, of course, a lot of work to make everything happen (or almost everything)

we didn't have time for OH, multi bld and fewest moves, as planned (I was really confident to get a better OH avg and single than at WC, and to make 3 cubes bld), but the rest went nice

many thanks to everybody who participated and watched, to Renan and his family for hosting me and to all competitors who helped scrambling and judging

I find it somewhat amusing that you had time for foot solving and not enough time for OH solving.

To bad you didn't do multi-blind. A succes would have put you in the top 10 of the world!

I also find it amusing that you had an event for one person to do feet solve, haha.

yeah, but at feet cubing we had just one guy...

so that would be something like 2 solves * 3 min = 6 min

for OH, we had 15 people or so...and not everybody is fast...I'm around 25, 2 other guys around 43-45 and the rest from 1 min to above...so that would take a lot of time...like...15 people * 2 min * 5 solves / 5 timers = ~30 min

we held the competition at a school...
it was saturday, and some of the school workers were there, as they had some work-hours to "pay" or something like that...

at first, we had to finish by 5:30 PM...but we were able to change that to 6:30

at the end, we finished giving the prizes at almost 7 PM, so...yeah...no time for anything else

yeah, I was kinda confident after a week of practice with my images and roman rooms...

but I'll practice more and maybe do 5 or more at the next comp, to get like top 5 in the world
