For those of you who have done so, he did you do it? Of course practice is key. I often get can 12 second F2Ls, and still have a 30.xx second solve. This mainly means my LL lacks. So a better question is, how do you improve your LL one handed? Any special techniques. Thanks in advance.

Yay! I fall in this category now!
It took me a loooong time to do this. Ok maybe not too long about 3 months. For OLL not much I can say, mine stinks too. I learned a few new OLL's for ones I felt were extra bad but most I just have to stick with bad OLL's.
PLL is great tho. I learned new algs for probably over half of my PLL. I am a big fan of LUR algs and now use those for most PLL's. Most all of the algs I use have been discussed on here. I do lots of OH time attacks and practice the same alg over and over and over and take averages of the individual ones.
Kind of a lot of words for learn new algs and practice each alg I'm just excited about my sub 25 last night :-)

I am having the same problem as you... My slow LL makes it hard to get sub 30 without easy LL cases. Maybe I should practice PLL time attack more.

OLL time attacks are not near as fun as PLL time attacks... I think I need to learn the OLL's better. I think I think too much during them by watching where the pieces go instead of just executing. OLL time attack will fix that.

Wow some of those algs are tempting to switch to!
D turns are way easier to perform than are F or B.

Edit: If I were to change any of my algs I would pick up the T and the G's mainly because I already use most of the other ones :-)

Harris, would you happen to know whether Sebastien OH cubes with his right or left hand? Which hand are these algs intended for (I'm thinking left)?

All of those algs look like they are set up for use on the left hand. The U PLL's kind of give it away.
Edit: haha I just figured out why a lot of the algs weren't working for me... those lower case letters aren't used as double layer turns like the w's are...

I don't understand why some people deliberately use their own notation that's incompatible with the common ones.

PJK: I improved a lot by practising scrambling.

Johannes: I am pretty sure I have seen this notation elsewhere. Actually only talked about in a discussion on notation in either the beginner or speedsolving section.
At first I was very excited about the algs on Absolute mind but after practicing then some I could not get them as fast as the algs I use now. Of course since I picked algs for cases I could use improvement on so for them to be slower isn't very good. I think I will just practice my F turns with my thumb. A cube rotation or two is not always worse than a 2-gen after all.
