CCT doesn't work on Vista?

I have Vista and CCT doesn't work
i hope the creater of CCT fixes this problem!
It'll be awesome to have CCT in vista comps

CCT is a free Java Timer on your computer which has the capability for your Stackmat Timer with an output port to connect to your computer and so while you are timing on your stackmat, the timer on the computer is also running.

I think I figured out my problem!
Lofty in your CCT folder, do you have a "cct.properties" AND a default.properties?
i only have default.properties but in pestvic's video i saw he had CCT.properties
Can someone send me CCT.properties please?

36duong thanks for the PM but i found out how to run it.
You simply right click the file and then you click extract
it works for me!
so if it doesn't work, try it!

Yeah, I just unzipped it into a folder and then ran it, I didn't get any problems, I don't see why people still get problems.

Vista doesn't have a zip folder, if you click the "zip" folder, the files come out. I saw that people extracted the file, so i rightclicked and then clicked extract. Now it works!

I have vista and CCT works fine you just after it is downloaded you right click and extract all the files.

I just got a new laptop with Vista, and I downloaded CCT.
I went to the folder and unzipped all of the files to my desktop. I go to the unzipped folders and click on the program, but it won't open.
What am I missing here?

Also, is there a way to delete 'recommended programs' to open it with? I accidentally did this, and now when I click on CCT it tries to open in the selected program. >_<
EDIT: And even if I completely delete all of CCT, and then re-download it, the recommended programs show up. That's odd...

Right click file-->open with-->choose default program-->uncheck always use the selected program

If I do that and then press 'Ok' without choosing a program, when I click on CCT again, it tries to open with the recommended program.

That looks helpful, but what to I type in instead of .ext for CCT?

I tried .jar to no success, also .rar, but nothing. .zip works but I'm not sure if this applies to CCT.

For me it works both on Vista (Laptop) and XP (PC). Try to unzip it one more time, maybe something went wrong?

lol, I tried for or 6 times, and you say 'give it one more try'. That always seems to work in movies, lol.

I needed a new Java upload (remember it's a brand new laptop, new model too, so I'm missing some stuff). Then Java showed up as a recommended program (of course), and somewhat using Carson said at first, I made Java the primary program it will open with.
