I can get the cross but it takes me about 8-10 seconds to finish.. how can i speed this up? it would definitely benefit my time..

If you solve the cross on the bottom, try to avoid flipping the edge up to the top corner for *every* edge piece and then doing a half turn to put it on the bottom. Instead, focus on finding the best way of solving it.

You should be able to see a three or four move combo that at least connects all the edges to their center pieces. Then you just need to rotate them downward to form the cross.

Tim.

Practice, just scramble it and practice the cross. Know where the pieces go in relation to each other.

I just opened jnet and got this:
F D2 R' F B D U2 R U2 R' U2 D R' B' L2 B F U B2 L B R' L2 U' L'

(scrambled with white on top and blue on front)

Flip it over so white is bottom and green is in front.

What i see is D L F' D L to solve cross

I guess that is a decent example of knowing the pieces in relation to each other, dont necessarily place them one by one.

On another note... add 8 more moves and u solve 2 pairs... if you do D L F' D U2 L U F' U F L' U2 L

you planned that double x cross in 15s?

Not really, as i was doing it i saw that U2 before L would pair up one corner and edge and then i did it and found it did two pairs. Just luck really

I am betting there are a few people out there that could see that far ahead though.
