Using Jigaloo after Crc

Hi everyone, I have a question about using jigaloo after crc. On lubethecube.com in their lubricant video they say that using crc reacts best to storeboughts. They also said after using crc, and breaking in the cube, they like to use jigaloo. When they say that do you think they mean I should clean out the crc, and then spray in jigaloo? Or just put in the jigaloo with the layer of crc still on there. Please answer, thank you. Also, this is an important thread: http://www.speedsolving.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13776

Roc Likes this method. I would definitely say and, he would too, work in the CRC first check it's effects after a few days worth of test solves and breaking in.... Then if you decide to even it out with Jig A Loo, use caution. Store bought and JSK's seem to be the most sensitive plastics to Jig A Loo's solvent qualities. Do not be surprised if your cubie's develop fine cracks that look similar to dried mud, which over time may effect the life of your store bought, but so far that has been a chance we've been willing to take to achieve the drastically better turning cubes that result from this treatment.

To lube with either lubricant I suggest using the method I describe in this thread, or use Bad Mephisto's technique.

So I shouldn't clean out the crc, but put the jigaloo over the layer of crc? Also, have you done this before, and will it make it much better? Thanks for the reply, people seem to ignore me.

Well you took the time to watch our poorly planned out lube video so...

And yes I've done it several times since most of our store bought's were lubed with CRC prior to us discovering we can buy Jig A Loo at Home Depot and Advance Auto parts.

If you are asking weather or not it makes it better to lube with CRC first then Jig A Loo the answer is we haven't done any scientific tests yet. Roc would tell you that there is something to that theory but my opinion is that if this were the case with any of our cubes then it's just coincidence because they were lubed first with CRC since we had nothing else and were well broke in by the time we first experimented with Jig A Loo.... But until we make a video testing the theory then I say go with what you like...

You still haven't answered my question. Should I keep the crc inside the cube, and then spray in jigaloo, after the crc has been in there for a few days of breaking in. Or clean out the crc, so that the cube has no crc lube left in it, and then apply the jigaloo. Hopefully I'm being more specific now.

Stop whining about this crap Regisiew, seriously, it actually does not make much of a difference. I did this experiment a couple of weeks back with a bunch of cubes that I had ranging from Type Cs to even the Edisons. It worked great just with using CRC alone -- Jigaloo seems to screw up my rhythm when I turn since now it turns too quickly and whenever I drop it it seems to turn one face randomly (too loose? no, i tightened to the max. plastic must have melted. oh well, two type c's wasted).

The results should be about the same regardless, but given the two options you mentioned I would go with the breaking in and then applying Jig A Loo without cleaning your cube.
