Hello!!

As you can tell by my username, I just started learning Roux. Many of you may know my youtube channel, cubeguru30. I started with fridrich and learned about roux. I have nothing against Fridrich, in fact, i think it is a great method! Roux is just better for me. I hope to meet you all soon!

that's a fine average. just PRACTICE!

Practice, and try BLD.
It's hard at first, but rather more rewarding than normal cubing.

don't rush into BLD!
I'd suggest getting a solid 25s average, but it's up to you. once you have a 25ish average, you'll understand more aspects of the cube, especially using a block-building method, and you will be ready, and not overwhelmed by BLD.
