What would you say to a speedcuber who averages in the low 20s and looks ahead during f2l and uses a metronome and knows full pll and knows 23 olls and been cubing for 5 months and does an average of 100 a everyday (21.32) and uses a DIY and pratice every day and cubes to much and wants to average sub 20? I wanna know im just curious....;)

wow, that was a mouthful of a sentance ;)

Stop doing averages of 100! Whatever "bad" habits you have at this stage that are keeping you from sub-20, I can guarantee you that doing averages of 100 every day is reinforcing them. In the time that it takes to do an average of 100 you could have learned, and completely become fast at, a new OLL alg. I challenge you to learn the remainder of the OLL in 30 days. I also challenge you not to do one more average of 100 until you know all of OLL.

If you're serious enough to do that, you're serious enough to go sub-20.

My metronome doesn't GO up to 250...
The guy above is correct. Average of 100s are useless for practice unless you do them correctly.
I would say to you: get more socks.

I agree. Wearing more socks, and walking while cubing will create static electricity, heating your cube, making the plastic expand, making it easier to turn, thus having better times while cubing.

I agree. Learn the rest of the OLLs and stop doing averages of 100. I'm not even consistently sub-1:00 (singles not averages) and I know that learning the rest of the OLLs would help.

STOP CUBING for a week or more... as cmhardw said you need to destroy your bad habits... I used to get stuck in 20s but after 2 weeks of non-cubing I improoved to 18s. That all you need.

I have a great idea... Go to the store, buy a regular Rubik's brand, do not lube it or anything, use it as it is, solve it many times, not to break it in, actually speed solve it. After a few days, switch back to your good cube. You will be getting used to hard to turn, so that it will be really easy to turn your old cube, and you will get better times, hopefully.
