slowing down in f2l?

I got this messsage on youtube -Learn full oll, try to improve finger speed, and for look ahead: try slowing down abit and keep consistent movement. In due time, your speed will catch up with your look ahead and sub 20 will be a piece of cake. Just keep practicing! ^_^

My finger speed is good,im learning full OLL,when I solve I slow down a little to look ahead,...But how will my speed catch up with my look ahead if I keep just going slow like he said? Or do I go Slow in Pratice but in speed solves i just try to look ahead?... This is a question to mostly sub 20 averagers...

No. Don't let your speed dictate your lookahead; let your lookahead dictate your speed.
