I have never been to a competition. Nor could I find anything that answered my question. (I tried google too)

For competitions. Is there a predetermined scramble for Round 1, Round 2...etc (meaning for round 1 all cubes have the same scramble, same for round 2, etc)
Or is every cube scrambled differently every time? Thanks :)

Another rules question, but about BLD. (I did not want to waste a new thread for this.) Should there a minimum time span between rounds of BLD, to help reduce memo confusion? Is there a typical time used now, like 20 minutes? I have not been to a competition yet. (My BLD needs improving.)

Your two or three BLD solves in a given round will generally be in rapid succession; I don't know of anyone who's complained about this, and it is definitely more convenient for the scramblers. However, if there is more than one BLD round, they tend to be pretty far apart. A given round can take an hour or more, so the judges typically want to do something else for a while before having to judge long BLD solves again.

There isn't any specific regulation about that. We have tried to space out the different BLD events at US Nationals so the BLDers don't get overwhelmed. Having 4x4BLD and 5x5BLD back to back kind of suck.
