Post all your algs here! This thread could prove to be very useful!

Petrus OLL:
Headlights: Reverse Sune, then reverse AntiSune
Chameleon: AntiSune, Sune
Sune, AntiSune: Duh
And then that one case that I can't remember the name of.. :confused:: R U2 R' U' R U R' U' R U R' U' R U' R'

PLL:
A perms: (l' U R') D2 (R U' R') D2 R2 and its mirror.
E perm: R2 U R' U' y (R U R' U')times 2 R U R' F U' F2

H perm: M2 U' M2 U2' M2 U' M2
U perms: R U' R U R U R U' R' U' R2 and its mirror.
Z perm: E2 M' E2 M' U M2 U' M2

F perm: R' U R U' R2' F' U' F U R F R' F' R2
G perms: Haven't decided yet.
J perms: R L U2 R' U' R U2 L' U R' U' and its mirror.
R perms: R' U2 R U2 R' F R U R' U' R' F' R2
T perm: R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F'
V perm: L' U R U' L U L' U R' U' L U2 R U2 R'
Y perm: F R U' R' U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R F'
N perms: R' U L' U2 R U' R' L U L' U2 R U' L and its mirror.

Whew! That took awhile! I had to type those all by hand. That was tedious!

Oh yeah....
4x4 parity: r2 U2 r2 Uw2 r2 Uw2 r2 I think that's it...
I still haven't learned the OLL parity. :P

This thread is different in that you tell us all the algs that you personally use versus adding them to a collection.

Sune, AntiSune: Duh

I know two algs for antisune, so you saying "duh" leaves me with no idea as to what your algorithm is.

AntiSune being L' U' L U' L' U2 L, the exact mirror of Sune. Out of curiosity, what's your other alg for AntiSune?

Not necessarily. I have Cube Explorer installed on my computer, and that, and that alone, gives me all the OLLs and PLLs I'll ever need.

I know 4 Sunes and 4 Antisunes but I only use 2 each. How about that?

The word "mirror" doesn't say anything. For any given LL alg, there are 3 different mirrors, so what? We're supposed to guess?

I don't see how knowing everyone else's "personal" alg will help me get faster in any way.

AntiSune being L' U' L U' L' U2 L, the exact mirror of Sune. Out of curiosity, what's your other alg for AntiSune?

Lol... someone actually uses that?

I use R U2 R' U' R U' R', there's at least one to two other good ones.

Macky.

Erik and Joel (and probably Rama?) use R' U' R U' R' U2 R.

Does he really? I always thought he used strange algs.

I think most people actually use the one you listed as their main anti-sune, I dunno why I like the other one more. I should start using both because they the same speed for me.

I use that one too. I taught it myself, as it was just a mirror of Sune along the F/B axis. I've never used the inverse. Even when I try, R' U' R U' R' U2 R is faster for me.

Those algs aren't really that bad. Actually they're quite good. You just need to get used to the idea that not everything needs to be done with your right hand.

Anyway I don't use them I use this for antisune R U2 R' U' R U' R', which really is the one listed abowe only mirrored.(I guess)

V perm: z U' R D R' U R U' R D' R' U R2 D R2' Uw'

I like this way of doing it...I only recently dicovered the smooth D R2' Uw' combo.

Side note: After you do that one R, let go, and wrist the D'. Unless you don't feel like it haha.

Is that one case you can't remember the name of "Niklas"?

R U2 R' U' R U' R'

Same as ellis. I also know R' U' R U' R' U2 R, but I don't use that one anymore. I didn't know yours, but I wouldn't use it anyway had I known about it. I stay away from L moves whenever possible because I'm much better with my right hand.

Headlights: Reverse Sune, then reverse AntiSune
Chameleon: AntiSune, Sune

Those seem inefficient. It would probably better to use

R2 D R' U2 R D' R' U2 R' for headlights

and

Y Rw U R' U' Rw' F R F' for chameleon

Those are the ones I use, they are very fast.

anyway, I use these ones for 2-look OLL:

Symmetrical Cross: F (R U R' U')*3 F'
Asymmetrical Cross: Fw R U R' U' Fw' F R U R' U' F'
Bowtie: F' Rw U R' U' Rw' F R
Sune: R U R' U R U2 R'
Anti-Sune: R' U' R U' R' U2 R
Plus the ones listed above.

PLL algorithms: (I know almost all of them). I don't like to use inverses or mirrors for patterns such as J(a) versus J(b) because it confuses me on which one to use so I use completely different ones.

A perm: X R' U R' D2 R U' R' D2 R2
E perm: X' R U' R' D R U R' Uw2 R' U R D R' U' R
U(a): R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R'
U(b): R U' R U R U R U' R' U' R2
H: M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2
Z: M2 U M2 U M' U2 M2 U2 M' U2
T: R U R' U' R' F R2 U R U R U R' F'
J(a): R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U R U
J(b): R' U2 R U R' U2 L U' R U L'
Y: F R U' R' U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R F'
R(a): R U2 R D R' U R D' R' U' R' U R U R' U
R(b): R' U2 R U2 R' F R U R' U' R' F' R2' U'
N(a): (L U' R U2 L' U)*2 U'
F: R' U R U' R2 F' U' F U R U' X' R2 U' R' U

And those are all I know.

Why are you being just a handist? :p

I can do the sune/anti-sune no matter which angle it is. I just solve it without AUF or rotation. (The same cannot be said for other algs.) I am right-handed, but I try to be ambidextrous in my solving.

No... it's this one. Niklas is a COLL case.

Yeah, I already know those algs, I just like using the Sune/AntiSune version better for some reason.

What's the point of that? Just to clog up the forum more?

The majority of us probably use a lot of the same algs anyway. If you are using a unique alg or came up with something different, better to share it in the collection thread or the wiki rather than add to the noise. That way people who are actually looking for a better algorithm than what they're currently doing don't have to sift through a thread with dozens of posts containing the same R perm.

So you prefer a 14 move double-alg over a very fast 9 move alg?
