For megaminx's, do people choose the "12 color Tiled Megaminx
For Speed-cubing" (http://www.mefferts.com/products/details.php?lang=en&category=2&id=176) which looks like a DIY or do people choose the "12 color Tiled Megaminx" (http://www.mefferts.com/products/details.php?lang=en&category=13&id=99)?

And for 4x4's, do people choose the "Original Master Cube
Black body, with tiles" (http://www.mefferts.com/products/details.php?lang=en&category=13&id=220) or do people choose the "Mini Master Cube
6x6x6cm" (http://www.mefferts.com/products/details.php?lang=en&category=13&id=106)?

I'm not sure about the megaminxs, but the first 4x4 you listed is the Meffert's product and the second is an Eastsheen. I think most people prefer the Meffert's , but I prefer the Eastsheen. It's down to personal preference.

People would choose the second one, but it has been out of stock for a very long time.

Meffert's rarely has megaminxes in stock. Their last run was in January, and even then it was just mf8 megaminxes that are sold at cube4you for a lot less.

Internally, they are the same. The pyraminx with fluorescent labels is the only one in stock, however.

If you had a choice between the Pyraminx II and the Pyraminx with plastic tiles, which would you pick? I would think the plastic tiles look better, but I'm not sure.

They are both out of stock and will most likely not be replaced. (At least not until the pyraminx with fluorescent labels sells out).
