I suck

Yeah, I suck. I have this Rubiks cube, made by the Rubiks company. 3x3x3. I can solve LBL in like 1:02, and F2L in like 1:07. Not lubricated, and is quite ugly. I suck, and I need tips?

I know that it is not that relevant for your times, but a better/better feeling cube will make you happy when turning (), no matter if your times are 10 seconds or 10 minutes - go get a DIY if you don't like your current cube !!

Learn to use fingertircks after you sand, break in, and lube your cube.

It took me a while to get Fridrich to 1 minute, just keep practicing. Learn OLL and PLL.

I'm still using the normal Fridrich method and im averaging down at around 35 with PB at 23 (2 times now). I am just starting looking at the 2 look OLL and PLL, so hopefully I will be sub 30 average soon. Just keep practicing and you will get as good as I am, or hopefully even better. When I got my very first Rubik's cube (store bought) I could already solve it under a minute. I borrowed a friends for a while.

indeed you can be fast with a rubiks brand cube, too.
my current single record was made with a original rubiks cube (19.31).

i could also have averages bellow 30.

but a speedcube turns out great.

how do u get past the one min. mark im stuck at an average of 1 min 11.5 sec. and iv got a new cube 4 you diy lube w/ silicon i use finger tricks and i solve it a ton!!!!!!!!!!!

Try to reduce the number of moves you make during a solve. I'm still not happy with mine (about 60-65).
