With the start of the bidding process, I think discussion on worlds 2029 can start.

Personally, I think somewhere in Asia would be best.

I think I can easily narrow down where the 2029 world championship will be held to one of two locations

1. If we take the historical data for the previous world championships from 2003 to 2027, fit trend lines for latitude and longitude by performing some basic linear regression, we get 29.2943° N, 39.3186° E. Looks like this section of Saudi Arabi will have plenty of space for the competition. Might be kidn of hot though.

2. I think to be fair to all competitors, since the WCA is a world-wide organization, the WCA will instead consider the geographic centroid calculated over the earth. If we map all this data we get 73.2103° N, 38.5783° W.....Greenland! On a glacier in Greenland to be specific. Not sure I would be happy with this choice. My hands are always cold even in normal weather.

I hope UK so I don't have to fly there probably not since it was already in Europe in 2027. I think maybe somewhere like New Zealand, which mean I probably won't go because is too far away and I'll be too jetlagged to compete.

Venue’s about to be 5 inches across and everyone’s gonna be competing with 3x3x1’s

Realistically, probably not. The Vatican has 10s of thousands of visitors a day, especially if there’s only like 2k-3k people.

Would the Pope organise it?

Realistically speaking, obviously no, but if it was framed as some sort of evangelization event, then he’d probably be in attendance, especially if it were more of a day thing (like an all stars event type of thing). Only issue with that is that I doubt most (if any) of the Chinese cubers are Catholic, and it probably wouldn’t be a WCA comp due to it being a Vatican sanctioned event. Realistically it’d probably be Teodor (he has icons in his room which you can see in Monkey League, which means he’s most likely Catholic), and maybe Tymon (just guessing because Poland is line 90% Catholic) against every one else because there’s no one other than the Chinese kids that can really compete with them.

Before I get made fun of for making obvious points, I did say I’m going to take this seriously while knowing it’s not.
