MoYuCube11’s road to sub-20 average

What are tips to get sub 20? If I can average that then it will be awesome. Here is what I know

I know about 20 OLL algs

About 10+ PLL algs

And I am kinda teaching myself lookahead F2L

My TPS is about 3-4
You can learn more OLLs if you want to, but full OLL is in no way essential for sub-20 or any time barrier until about sub-15. Full PLL is definitely a must though - even if some cases seem horrible to learn, it will be quite hard to be sub-20 without knowing them. 3-4 TPS is good enough for sub-20, but you should make sure that your F2L is relatively efficient - you should use JPerm's F2L PDF (which you can find on his website) if you think a particular pair takes too many moves. Also, although it will be a very useful skill in the future, lookahead isn't too important at your level.

I average 16 seconds with about 30 OLL algs, full PLL and intuitive F2L.
Learning how to make more efficient crosses helped me alot, and learning algs for the longer F2L cases.

I also have 2 official sub 20 ao5s (19.4 and 18.74) using full PLL and 2 look OLL, so I think you only really need to learn full PLL.
Full OLL shouldn't be learned until sub 17.5 at MOST.
Although I think it cuts off more time then PLL, 53 (i think its 53) algs is alot for someone who frequently uses 4LLL.
