Face Turning Octahedron is the name of the puzzle, we just shorten it to FTO. Pyraminx and Megaminx aren't short for anything. I do think it's a bit of a shame that FTO never got a catchier name, but at this point it's probably too late for anything to catch on.

Well so far Uppsala FTOpen has the earliest FTO round beginning at 2:55 AM my time while Odivelas FTO Rumble’s first round is at 3:30 AM my time. There will likely be a comp in NZ announced soon though, only 7 comps have plans to hold it on Jan 2 so far

If it was removed, it would say “We’re sorry, but something went wrong.”

I defs agree, they should make the middle gaps narrower, and maybe rotate the whole thing 45 degrees

Unofficially yes, however Uppsala FTOpen didn’t add FTO as an event you can actually add until after some other comps did
