Yes, Ive already said this before, but ive checked everywhere I can and this method dosent exist.

STEP 1: LAU 2x2x3
I know people say it’s inefficient, but I think it’s because he portrayed it inefficient because it just feels like it’s one step, because it truly is.

STEP 2: D LAYER EDGE + 1 PAIR

STEP 3: LAST 5 CORNERS (L5C)
I need help finding a 2x2 method that solves the last 5 corners using one algorithm. This would be a lot of algorithms, but I know someone has thought of it and invented algs for it and then realized how much last 4 ____ has been over done. I hope there is one out there, and if not, I will make a post saying I need help making algs for it. If so, I would also need help finding out how many algs there would be.

STEP 4: L5E

Similar to the Icon of the Zipper Method, solve the last 5 edges using an algorithm. I looked at the zipper method, and I noticed despite the icon it was a D layer edge and the top layer instead of a E layer edge and the top layer? Kinda confusing.

And that’s my method.
I could also call the method “LPCE” as in Lau, pair (and edge), corners, edges, but now that I say it, it’s kinda confusing.

this method could be efficient for 2x2 aswell
if the corner is not in the slot, there would be 486 algs, and a third of the algs are WVCP
Please post in the New Method Thread!

Oh sorry I didn’t post it in the new method thread I just meant as so I need helping making thos
Also I don’t think it would be efficient for 2x2 cus I think EG is better and has less algs

That is exactly what Zipper-C is basically

actually
people usually build it with two steps:
step 1: solve half the E layer on the left
step 2: build a 3x2x1 on the bottom right
then D2
but with that said, it’s mainly inefficient due to the way the 223 block is built, rather than whether it’s one step or not. It allows for some annoying positions for the DFR and DBR corners, which makes it quite annoying.
STEP 2: D LAYER EDGE + 1 PAIR
could we get more context on this? Like where will the D layer edge go? DR? I’m assuming it does go in DR after making the Lau 223. Also i’m assuming the pair goes into BR, since it’s the only good place a pair can go after 223+DR edge

sounds a lot like LS. Martyt7777 already linked and LS video in the previous post. But be careful, some 2x2 algs don’t always reflect cleanly into 3x3.

I can already tell the algs for this steps aren’t going to be very ergonomic.

goodluck with the method development!

hard to make a last 5 ___ method ergonomic and since 2x2 algs dont always transfer, it’s even hard for the L5C part
