Dumb question about turning

I know this is kind of a dumb question but how do you guys just automatically know what your turning style is? I just simply turn and i dont know how to put it into words. I wanna learn how to put my turning style into words since knowing my own turning style will help me better determine which speedcubes I should get in the future based off of my style.

No worries!
So are you asking how we found our "comfy speed?"
I go for raw yet stable speed. I value control. For me, a good cube has to handle pressure well and still have virtually zero resistance.

I wanna know how to put my turning style into words. I know what settings I like on my cube but so many cubers can easily describe their turning style but I can't. Help?
Settings huh?
So when I adjust my cubes there are two things I keep in mind:
Magnetic strength
Cube flexibility
The tighter your cube is, the weaker feel the magnets have.
You want your cube to be able to stretch but not fall apart. You want the magnets to have a decent feel.
Is this what you wanna know? Sorry if I am misunderstanding.

Im talking about those cubers who say their turning style is fast turning, aggressive, or rough, or choppy, or gummy, etc...idk how to figure out how to describe my own turning style with words like that...any tips for figuring it out?

You will know your turning style from experience. Solves upon solves, years of practice, etc. When your have enough experience, you’ll be able to just naturally know what your turning style is like. Recording your solves and watching them is also a good way to tell what your turning style is. Judging from my competition solves, i would say i have a relatively “attacking” turning style, similar to Juliette Sebastien’s (do note that “attacking” is NOT the same as aggressive). From a video, you can tell whether your hands are tense, whether you use corner cutting a lot, etc.

I have been described as aggressive.
correction: “very aggressive”

I would love a future where AI models take visual data of our fingers and cube and model a turning style that is an accurate description of reality.

Find what cubes you like and which ones you don't, and try to describe the feeling of your favorite cubes. For me, my favorite cubes include the Huameng TG V1, the Tornado V3 and V4 (both pioneer), and the Hudong Light. Something all those cubes have in common is a slightly faster speed and heavy, smooth turning. So I could describe my turning style as controlled, moderately aggressive, and momentum-based.
