just to inform you guys, i heard that the old rubiks cubes (form the 80's) were the best build quality and so i bought one, for £1.05 you cant really go wrong considering it included a solution book!

How do you know that its a original one? I know that it says so in the description, but I cant see a original 80's logo or sth. like that ...
So, if it was original, it has to be one of the early ones, which came without a logo.

Quality was high, but today there are now other cubes more suitable for speedcubing. The orginal 80 cube take a long time to break in

btw there are a lot of difference between Rubik's cube from 80, since there where factories is Hungary,USA and UK , in late 80 and 81 even clone's where re branded as Rubik ....

The ones from 78, until early 80 are from Poliytoys/Politechnica Hungary this is an other story...
