Is inspection illegal?

Inspection is not illegal, my intention was a standard speed solve (including inspection). The surprise was just that you had to do that as soon as you could after reading it.

If anyone interpreted it as no inspection I would consider that a harder version of the challenge and worth a call out!

I don’t create an official ranking for these challenges also. They’re intended to be just for fun and a surprise switch-up from your typical day-to-day.

Whatever you all choose to do with the results is up to you. My job is just to bring the surprise and maybe a little bit of fun!

I actually know VHLS, back when I was learning ZB. But I stopped using it except for s move inserts, the dot case for three movers (for oriented edge), and obviously the sledge insert.

I honestly agree VHLS can be a lot simpler than CFOP and my pbao12 used to be using it until yesterday. I might get back into using it, as I just stopped like last week, and trying normal CFOP. I’m glad other people think it’s faster.

So you don’t have to learn all the algs. I’m actually learning it, trust I’ll be done by the end is summer. But VHLS is nice practice.
