I miss adjustable magnets

how can you say core magnets don’t make a difference when you don’t even have a core magnetic cube😭😭😭 If we take a look at what core mags and piece to piece magnets do:
core magnets auto-align the cube and keep the cube in cube shape. Piece to piece magnets just keep the cube in cube shape. And through 90% of your turn, the cube is pretty much “non-magnetic”, so only when the pieces get close to aligned to eachother do they make a difference. I have a GAN V100 Maglev and when i first got it i thought the piece magnets were kinda weak, but what did i do? I just dealt with it and solved anyway.
Coming from a sub-7 solver, you DON’T need extra cubes like a Rubik’s brand or a nexcube, just do slow solves on the cube you already have. The reason why slow solves are reccomended every time is because you can train pretty much everything, from lookahead to turning accuracy to last layer prediction to solutions etc. Just focus on aligning each face, your cube doesn’t need to be non-magnetic to do that.

*sigh

i yapped again😭

Based.

Had the Tornado v3 for my first magnetic cube. Loved it till it broke. But I have some ideas on how to make adjustable cubes...but couldn't find anyone who'll take my ideas. Only have 2d sketches, but they're advanced enough to be translated into actual prototypes. I kinda gave up finding someone to work with, but still open to collaborate. Oh well. Adjustability makes you fell like you have complete power, control over everything. I wish the newer Gan mods had more adjustability, but they don't do that anymore for some reason. It was really cool. Tornado v3. But brittle plastic. Was my fave for a while.

If you send me your sketches, I could probably mock up a starter 3d model for you. I would need dimensions if you don't have them yet.

Same thing happened with my tv3, it was my first magnetic 3x3, and eventually too many magnet capsules broke and it was just unpleasant to use. I got it in September and the last time I used it was in December.

woah that’s so cool as i’ve been thinking of a cube design myself as well!

Keep it a secret. The design. No offense, but I want credit for my work, and am trying to protect it as much as possible. But you can build anticipation for it,like I did for a while. Also, try getting on the good side of a manufacturer, and you may receive profits for your work! I went with the cubicle, and they want to see results before any actual commitments are made. Have people try it in comps, quote their opinions, and it may work...hope it goes well if you are serious about this! And a series are better than just one model. So work on that also bro! And something may work for me,just got word that there is possibility for collaboration! Yo bro!
