Young cubers discussion

Hmmm, maybe change the title to idk like "Very Young Cubers Discussion".

This is really cause someone is "young" from birth till maybe 24, but at least from birth to 18.

Maybe i just dont want to be called an unc by some 7 y o who saw this and thought that anyone who isnt ten is a boomer.

Or the thread can be changed to include upcoming talent from cubers aged 0 (imagine there was a 0 y o cuber) to 18.

Bruh i was expecting some 9 yo with maybe a 15s avg not this...
When i was 4 i didnt even know what a cube (the shape) is 😔
Yea like I'm 12 so that's why I said my results

Cubing Begins
My journey in cubing started at 4 years and 3 months old. In the first half of my cubing journey, cubing was just a common hobby like many others. Through my daily practice, I made steady progress in my speed and accuracy. My parents also paid attention to my cubing study. As I kept practicing and improving, my times steadily dropped, reaching sub-30, and my progress continued as I broke new personal bests (PBs) one after another. This achievement made me feel the excitement of surpassing my limits.

When I watched "Cube Speed" and saw that their team had participated in the 2024 Winter Tournament, I pushed myself to the limit, practicing over 4000 times and finally managing to pass the "pressure test" for the first time. It was like a new challenge in my cubing path. Later, I realized that the key to progress lies in overcoming challenges and pushing oneself.

But, along the way, there were times when things were not smooth. After achieving sub-10, I felt like I was stuck in a bottle neck and unable to improve. I started to lose confidence, but fortunately, I found a mentor who guided me and rekindled my passion. With the help of my mentor, I got back to practicing the ZB and OLL cases. Although my brain felt burnt out, my coach’s dedication and insight really helped me improve, giving me a better grasp of the techniques and decreasing my mistakes, which led to breakthroughs, including achieving sub-7.

This was an achievement that I hadn't dreamed of before. Now, I don't focus so much on the quantity of solves but rather on the quality of each solve. The most important thing is to focus on every step I take. It’s about keeping consistent and improving incrementally, which I believe is the key to mastering cubing.
