just because a thread is “dead” doesn’t mean you can’t add informationNuh uh, it was dead
so which is better? Bump a 12 year old topic (older than xuanyiNobody was looking at it, and I don't even know how far you had to scroll to find this.
Unofficial and by decade: https://wca-seniors.org/Senior_Rankings.htmlThis thread is the Jake Paul hall of fame if ykyk.
I think there should be an age group system (just for fun) on the WCA. That way you can see who is the fastest at each age.
Maybe on https://statistics.worldcubeassociation.org
Is he older than https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/persons/2011MICH01 Egon Micheelsen who is listed as 90+ in the senior ranking. This is a pretty big bump, but I think it’s reasonable. Today at the competition i was at, 95 year old Frank Zieminski competed, and broke not one, not two, BUT THREE 90+ year old cuber world records! Everybody loved frank and I got to speak with him a little bit, and he’s an awesome guy, and this is amazing, I wonder if he will ever compete again/ how long it will take until these are broken!
woahIs he older than https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/persons/2011MICH01 Egon Micheelsen who is listed as 90+ in the senior ranking.
Btw, my grandfather-in-law also attended a WCA competition today and he is 88 years young!
My grandfather has a widescape notebook with all the cases drawn using sketch pens. He is too conscious of doing the last layer without looking at the notebook. It is tough to convince him to trust his muscle memory and get more familiar with the solving process.woah
I should teach my grandfather to learn how to solve a cube
average grandpa attitude I guessMy grandfather has a widescape notebook with all the cases drawn using sketch pens. He is too conscious of doing the last layer without looking at the notebook. It is tough to convince him to trust his muscle memory and get more familiar with the solving process.
No, I meant that nobody was posting in it. I think it's a fun topic, but a 13 year bump is a bit much.you replied with “Nuh uh, it was dead” which means you think it doesn’t add any valuable information/relevance to the thread
Clearly other people disagree. I disagree. This is what makes Forums much better than reddit. History, and reminders of past experiences. I really liked this bump, and hope there will be many more like it in the future. No, I meant that nobody was posting in it. I think it's a fun topic, but a 13 year bump is a bit much.
A couple of people who were at the comp Frank went to told me he was 95. Birthday must have been recently.Zieminski is 94 today (or a month ago)
