I'm gonna have to agree with Canyon on this. If anything there should be two different categories, one for official void cubes, like Canyon used, and one for 3x3 without center caps. It should be with an official void cube, because it will perform differently than a 3x3 without center caps would perform, and if we allowed 3x3 without center caps to be used, then void cube hardware would be useless.

The new void cubes by Qiyi change that. If you only base that off the one that @BVCuber13 shows then yes void cube hardware is useless. But there have been great improvements from Qiyi that are getting completely ignored by people that think 3x3 without center caps is the same thing as void cube. It performs drastically better than the old non magnetic versions, with a much better designed mechanism that allows for speedsolving, but if we ignore it in favour of 3x3 without center cap then there is no point for void cube innovation.
This is why void cube WR/WB should only be with a void cube, and what @BVCuber13 has is just WB for 3x3 without center cap, which may be functionally identical to void cube, but the principle is different.
