My clocks turns bad idont know why

So I have a Qiyi clock blue I average 5 seconds but I think I could be sub 5 if it turns better I lube it with weight 5 and silk but it doesn’t turn fast I first though I overlubed it so I cleaned it out and tried again and it still was slow does anybody know how to make it faster

Just keep breaking it in, maybe instead Lubing it raise the center mags, if that still does not work then just get a new clock because some clocks are just slow because qiyi doesn’t have the best quality control (mainly green clock but still)

If you have screws still in the clock, do tape mod, if you dont know how to do that:
Remove all the screws
Add tape to the sides
or just use a yt tutorial
Now it should be better
If you have a missing magnet for example, it locks up a lot, so maybe that is why.
And I agree with what Evan said, raise the center magnets.

I added tape mod and it’s still a little slow but not overly like faster than stock but a tiny bit slow

I've put a mix of w5 and dnm in my clocks before and it's worked out perfectly, goated setup fr (shout-out to Davis Johnson for the setup)

Magnets are coated. They're not going to rust.

yes but imo it can also make it more balanced, which makes it feel better

yes, just take out the screws and lube individual pieces, then do tape mod (get rid of the screws and put tape on the clock)

Is there a specific tape that gives better results ? Or could any tape work ?

So like could the white tape i forget the name of work just as well as cellotape or duct tape ?
