ik its dumb and boring and dumb, but mostly bumb and boring, but it really does improve your averages... I gave up on OLL. but ik intuative ZBLS and some of COLL so I don't plan on going back to OLL bc I want to move to full ZBLL.

o my days i am not learning no zbll any time soon

I got sub 18 with 3LLL (PLL, 2 LOOK OLL)
Look ahead is really only needed for sub 15, to an extent sub 17.5 imo.
Intuitive f2l is needed to be sub 20, but if you use zeta slotting you can get sub 25 with that (i have a 22.4x ao100 with zeta slotting).
Also learn the cases for f2l that you arent effiencient in, and try to solve pairs in 8 moves or less. However, some pairs will take 11 moves, and you cant really prevent that.

This is just general advice i got when I mained CFOP, and since I only switched to APB like 3.5 months ago these tips should still be relevant.

You could also stop doing double recognition, which is when you subconsciously (usually subconsciously anyway) recognise your case twice (id be sub 19 if it werent for this rn)

full pll is worth learning. 2 look OLL is ok for sub 20
honestly, the full focus for sub 20 is good look ahead and at least intuitive f2l (but you would want full f2l just not the advanced cases)

Ok so learn full PLL and improve cross a little bit
Ngl op needs to improve their cross alot, maybe to like 2.5s
these are my splits

cross = 4 sec
Work on <8 moves or less for cross, go into cs timer, do a scramble, then rather then doing the solve inspect for as long as you wish, once you have planned your cross execute it, and type the number of moves it took to solve cross.
Once your mean is sub 8, then give yourself a limit (once you add a limit id say 30s for the start)
f2l = 11 sec
Learn algs for your worst cases, try to solve pairs in <8 moves , sometimes itll take 11 moves tho.
If it takes 9 or 10 moves theres probably more efficient solution, if it takes 12 then theres definitely a better solution.

oll = 5 sec
Nothing wrong here, maybe learn better algs, practise execution and recognition too.
try to aim for sub 4 oll
pll = 7 sec
Learn full PLL, practice recognition (i can do 2 look pll in 4s so i think your recog is bad)
Also practice your execution.
