What is the best speed cube brand?

Moyu has so many great cubes for so many events that it’s really no contest. They may not have the best cube in each event(eg skewb) but they have really good cubes for most people for most events.

As of when. Right now MoYu. A few years back GAN. Back with the older cubers DaYan (Zhanchi is GOATED for those who know).

2014-2018: battle between MoYu and GAN (Moyu got the better end I think)
2018-2021: GAN
2021-2025: MoYu

I only started cubing at the end of 2022 so I don’t know much

The best rn is moyu by a loooonnngggg shot.
Imo yj is also a very good brand after the beta line started (pls new nxns other then 2x2/3x3 yj bro)

I'll give some of my opinions.

MoYu is the best cube brand as of now because it has an insane variety of cubes and lots of very good cubes for beginners and pro solvers.

GAN makes very good cubes, but at absurd price points. 13-15 were pretty bad, but 16 is really good, kinda like 12 and I hope GAN can keep this going.

QiYi (non-X man) is not really that great, but is pretty good at making good cubes at low price points. The M pro v2 pioneer has all the features in the best cubes, at just $15. And after seeing QiYi's M Pro line, I honestly think they have very high potential.

DaYan is doing great right now releasing some very good cubes, I have high expectations for them and they are not failing to amaze me.

Don't really have much to say about the other cube brands.

Yeah i agree with all these, other then how i think the gan 15 wasnt that bad tbh.

I guess yj is doing pretty good with their beta and meta3 cubes, but dayan has been on a streak of making very good cubes, which I personally think started with the tengyun. And I’m not exactly calling the gan 15 “bad”, I’m just saying that there weren’t any really noticable tech upgrades from the 14, and even threw away some things like adjustable corner-edge magnets.
