Mini Guildford Madness 2025! Competition complete!

Welcome all to the Mini Guildford Madness 2025! Registration has just now opened, and it will close on October 6. It will consist of three rounds: the first round where you will do an ao5 of each of the mini guildford events (3x3, 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, OH, Clock, Mega, Pyra, Skewb, and Sq-1). The sum of the ao5s will be the result. The top 16 competitors will move on to the second round where they will be partnered up (#1 with #16, #2 with #15, etc.) to do a 2-man mini guildford. There’s a slight twist though, each team member MUST compete in 5 events, so no one person doing it all lol. Each partner will do a timed relay of their 5 events, and the slower time between the two partners will be the result. The top 4 teams will move on to finals where it is a normal, every man for himself mini guildford relay. The first round will begin on October 6, and will last two weeks until October 20. There will be a one-week period for the partners to decide who is doing each event from October 20-27, and then Round 2 will start on October 27 and last until November 10. Finals will begin on November 10 and will end on November 24. These deadlines are set, and I will not be extending them, you must submit before the deadlines, no exceptions. I will ping competitors who have not submitted 24 hours before the round ends. You are not required to actually compete in every event, instead these times will be added to your overall time for each event you do not compete in (this applies to all rounds):

3x3 - 25.00
2x2 - 8.00
4x4 - 1:30.00
5x5 - 3:00.00
OH - 40.00
Clock - 15.00
Mega - 3:00.00
Pyra - 10.00
Skewb - 10.00
Sq-1 - 40.00

To register, just reply in this thread and I will add you to the list as soon as I can! Also, there is no competitor limit.

I would like to participate in this comp, its my first in the community!

Getting close to 16 ppl, if at least one more person registers, I will make it top 16 to second round.
If not, it will be top 12 to second round.
If we only have 16 by Monday, there will be 100% proceed so to move on, you'll need to compete in at least one event (if for some reason you don't have time to do everything).

Edit: So now we’ve reached 16 ppl, so I will be doing top 16 (unless less than 16 ppl submit)

Ok, registration is closed, Round 1 is now starting! In this round, you must complete an ao5 of each of the Mini Guildford events (3x3, 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, OH, Clock, Mega, Pyra, Skewb, Sq-1). Your result will be the sum of all the ao5s. However, because we all have lives outside of cubing (if you don't, go touch some grass), I have made a way for ppl to compete without having to do all events. For each event you do not compete in, these times will be added instead:

3x3 - 25.00
2x2 - 8.00
4x4 - 1:30.00
5x5 - 3:00.00
OH - 40.00
Clock - 15.00
Mega - 3:00.00
Pyra - 10.00
Skewb - 10.00
Sq-1 - 40.00

So, when you compete in an event, fill out the form for that event, and I will add these times for the ones you don't submit. The scrambles are on the form, and this round will end on October 20, no exceptions. I will ping competitors with a week remaining, and with a day remaining.

There are currently 17 registered competitors, and the top 16 proceed to the next round, so unfortunately one person will be eliminated (unless not everyone submits). So, it will be a battle to not make last. I will post results after the round is over. Good luck guys!

If we choose to compete and get an average that is slower than those replacement times, can we choose to use those replacement times, or must we use the times we competed with?

So I've edited the forms a little to add a comments section if you'd like to write a comment, and I'd ask if you could please just write the times in the times section, no parentheses or comments there, it makes it easier for me to calculate averages in the spreadsheet. Thank you, mdcuber9

Edit: Another thing, if you get a DNF, type in 100 instead so it recognizes it as a high number
