Female World Record (FWR) Thread

Unfortunately, this topic is bound to come up over and over in any discussion of female sports, as transphobia is more common than it's ever been. Deleting those posts regularly is probably a good idea for a friendly forum like this, just to keep things civil and on-topic, but the fact of the matter is that politics is engraining itself into more and more aspects of everyday life.

Mods, do what you have to do, and your work is much appreciated, but—and I hate to say it—I guarantee this won't be the last time this thread ventures to controversial territory, at least until more firm anti-bigotry rules are created.

Yeah, it sucks that it's a controversial topic at all. I have a couple FSRs, but I'm not transitioning just so I can say I have those. I kind of avoid saying it because I don't want to cause any controversy because of a harmless record.

my honest opinion is girls transitioning to boys should still remain as true girls and boys transitioning to girls should remain as true boys

I dont think trans boys should be able to take girls WRs and vice versa

I think it just makes it more complicated and controversial than it was before. My opinion is that they should disconinue the fwr category because gender doesn't matter in a "mind sport" like cubing.

I agree with this, it makes no difference so why make a segregated thread for only females

more complicated? It’s legit just girls WRs = FWR and boys WRs = WR (ig)

girls transitioning to boys are still girls and boys transitioning to girls are still boys imo

I think it's time we laid this subject to rest. We have gone very off-topic. It makes me sad to see transphobia on these forums, and I think that's a conversation that needs to be had, but not here.

Hello, just adding my grain of salt. I don't think transphobia is the good term here, because transphobia means : dislike of or strong prejudice against transgender people. And here Caleb Valenzuela has only stated his opinion without insulting them or showing hatred toward them.

no, boys wr is just a term that rarely gets used because almost every wr is a boy
