I was scrolling thru the SS Forum and saw some peoples introduction thread, which made me realize that I haven't made one when I join the forum.
Well better late then never.

I'm a 15yo straight male with black eyes, black hair, black skin, black eyebrows, and a bad sense of humor. anyway! My Internet name is Saterz_ but my real name is Ilan. I am from the Caribbean but I moved to Gabon (an african country) two years ago for my mom's job. (It's a three year contract so I'll be outta here soon enough (finally )).

I know how to solve a 3x3 since I am 12, but I still average 25 sec (pathetic I know ). But I know how to solve : a Skewb, a 2x2 to 5x5, a 7x7 as well (I don't have a 6x6), a twisty 3x3, and a... wait that's all ?! Crap what have I been doing this whole time ?! Double pathetic .

Like I said I am a 100% self thought developer, I know how to code in Python, Typescript / HTML / CSS, Svelte (I know it's not a language but I gotta grow this list somehow), Basic Casio, C.Basic (an extension of Basic Casio), and... wait no that can't be true, only this ?! Third pathetic in this one post .

I play Tennis since I am 6 (the real one, not Wii Sport Tennis). It isn't the only sport I have been on, I did : Taekwendo, horse riding, swimming, etc...

I don't get fat, I can eat the quantity I want, my body doesn't budge.

Oh and to wrap this up, I just wanna say that no LLM model (AI) was use to write this. I say this because If you haven't notice it yet I use AI for writing, a lot. And this is a member intro so I need it to be authentic.

Everything I want to measure myself I mess up the scramble and end up giving up because I don't wanna solve it to mess up again. At least my only successful scramble in 4x4 made me able to do a 2:10.89 solve, yep, 2 damn minutes.
Oh and Skewb ? Well Skewb is quite special. I solve it one time and forget it for 2 months. (Someone will be angry after reading this)

So this scramble problem is the reason why I only solve big cubes blindly (not respecting scrambles) and that I prefer 3x3

2x2 is very easy to get sub 10 in, you can definitely get sub 10 solely by grinding solves (and if you dont know it already, by learning LBL but considering your 3x3 avg you probably intuitively learnt it).

4X4:
2 mins aint bad ngl (saying this as someone who thought i was best in UK while averaging 10 mins) and imo is easy to surpass also just by grinding solves.

5x5 is fun but takes too long for me to main rn and i parity on 4x4

7x7 is nightmare (my first solve was 45 mins. Non cubers still are amazed i sat for 45 mins straight just solving it when there a people who spend entire days solving one)
