After days of thinking and lots of failed methods, I present the BTOL method for the 2x2. This method(as you can read from the title) presents a new 2x2 method to rival eg.
Credits
Bttyx: proposed and thought of ideas for method and created some algs
That0newe1rdo:created some algs, split the algs into subgroups
Without further ado, here are the steps:
1.solve a face, with two corners solved and the other two orientated.(Max 3 moves)
2.Solve the rest of the cube(or BTL6C as I would like to call it)
Stats:
Average moves: 10.8
Numbers of algs: 1236
Pros:
-advanced solvers can easily one look using this method, allowing for faster solves without pause
-colour neutral people can easily solve the first step with 2 or less moves, allowing for optimal solutions.
Cons:
a lot of algs(compared to eg)
If you do not know how to one look, recog is bad for BTL6C

Example solves:
(Not yet, plan to put in when I have time)

Since doing step 1 only takes 3 moves, does this mean that any 2x2 scramble could be easily one looked using this method as long as someone knows full BTL6C? Also: what does BTL6C stand for?

Isn't this just eg1?

yes one look is possible. BTL6C stand for Bttyx and that0newe1rdo last 6 corners

Still confused. Do you have a diagram or smthn?

Are the two others oriented have to be
the opposite color?
Nvm you alr answered this in a different post.

How should they be arranged? Should the yellow corners be solved relative to each other, or do any yellow corners work? The other 2 orientated, do they have to be yellow, or could it be like 1 white and 1 yellow?

The other two corner can be any combination of white and yellow

Any yellow corners work.
I dont know how to explain it so ill show all possible layers.
Note - All white pieces HAVE to have a "solved" bar.

What did u put into batch solver
< R U R' U R U2 R', U, U2, U', R2, R U R' U', U R U' R' >

Later i also tried this tho <R U R' U R U2 R', U, R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R'> <R2 U R2, U, R2 U' R2>

They both end up with 1844 algs but you can sort them into the cases by putting it as Orientation at DFR and DBR and looking for the cases that follow what a side in BTOL looks like
