CubeIndex - the next Essential Cubing Platform

So I recently shared my idea for a cubing project called CubeIndex, and the response from the community was amazing (seriously, thank you all ).

For those who missed it: CubeIndex is a website where you’ll be able to track your cube collection, rate your cubes, and let’s be honest… mostly show off .

But I don’t want to build this alone and end up with something that looks great to me but totally atrocious for you.
That’s why I’d love your suggestions, feedback, and ideas; whether it’s about UI/UX, features you’d love to see, or cubes you think should be in the database.
Fixing a grammar mistake is contribution in my eyes so you are all welcome.

GitHub pages won’t work for this website since it only hosts static sites, while this app needs a backend and database for storing user information and cube information.

Vercel can host websites with a backend which is why it is more popular in more advanced projects (and it’s free!)

You can make as many deployments as you want for an unlimited amount of projects.

Vercel doesn't offer a database service itself as far as I know; you need to use something else like Supabase or Firebase. Supabase is free and easy to pair with Vercel since it only takes making a few simple backend api routes to get it working.

NOT the Gan 460 v1
Wait actuallyy yeah put it in but name it "worlds worst 4x4 that literally pretty much the entire cubing population hated on"
But add some more OG cubes for people who have been cubing since like 2012 and b4.
E.g Dayan Zanchi or Weilong V1
Edit - bruh i dont have disc nooooo.
Add a light mode (yes i am a light mode user) but make default dark due to how im probably the only light mode user in existence
Erm excuse me but app'll is not a possible word thingy in todays society.
I request (I DEMAND) that this will change to app will.

It doesn't seem that you are on the latest version of CubeIndex, try refreshing the page by doing CTRL + F5 which will clear the cache and try again.

I don't have apple devices so I don't know so I asked ChatGPT :

To hard reload a page in Safari on iPad, you need to clear the cache and force a reload. This can be done by either:

1. Clearing Safari history and data: Go to Settings > Safari and tap "Clear History and Website Data". Confirm the action.
2. Quitting and restarting Safari: Close all Safari windows and then reopen the browser.

Alternatively, if you want to clear the cache for a specific website, you can:

1. Open Safari Developer Menu: Go to Settings > Safari and enable "Advanced" > "Web Developer".
2. Open the website: Navigate to the website you want to reload.
3. Force a reload: Tap the developer icon (usually an "i" icon) and select "Empty Caches".

These methods will force Safari to fetch the latest version of the page from the server, effectively bypassing any cached data.
