Yiheng tries old speed cubes

[Cubinginatree]

Yiheng kept saying "how were people so fast on these cubes" and what he was averaging on them was like the world record single back then lol.

This kid...

I just can't.

Love this video, Yiheng is a lot more talkative than normal, and I really love that we are able to know Yiheng’s personality more.

Also,

Very clean timer starts yay

Yeah, it's quite difficult to actually get to know any Chinese cubers because of the language barrier so him getting sponsored by TheCubicle is probably one of the best ways we could ever get to know his personality more.
Seeing his enjoyment about the different puzzles was really fun, and seeing him show a more child-like side is awesome compared to his usually minimal side at comps. I hope TheCubicle keeps up with these interactive videos with Yiheng so more people can see who he is and like him more.

Found another Yiheng Vid that just came out

[efattah]

Give him an original 1981 Rubik's brand cube and let's see how he does on a cube that cannot be finger tricked....

Did you even watch the video? That is one of the cubes he was given.

[Puzzle Maniac]

He honestly just seems like a nice kid who would be fun to hang out with, even if he was a non-cuber

Nice video idea yoooooo, Yiheng is very cute!

Wow sorry I literally quit watching seconds before they gave him the 1980 cube.
I am nowhere close to Yiheng speed but at least I can say that I can easily beat him on a 1980 cube!

[stoic]

The lad knows his history.
I’d almost believe he got that 5.55 on the OG Zhanchi deliberately…

[Sombi McJunior]

Sub 5 on a zanchi is just ridiculous (thats what happened right i watched the vid yesterday)

Yiheng’s just a chill guy

He might only know a few good cases, or he knows full WV but just uses the good ones.

Really fun video. You can feel everyone's enthusiasm with cubing and those are the best cubing videos. And this is the first time I feel like I actually saw Yiheng's personality. (The sandy lube isn't even that bad of an idea lol)
